Training in the Maldives means warm water, consistent reef breaks, and boat access to a range of waves, so you can learn in varied conditions while keeping a surf-first daily rhythm of sessions, coaching, and recovery. The North Malé Atolls are home to iconic breaks like Cokes, Chickens, Sultans, Honkeys, and Ninjas, making it an unforgettable place to develop your skills both in and out of the water.
Depending on your route, you can gain ISA Level 1 and Level 2 Surf Instructor qualifications, plus international water safety training such as ISA/ILS Aquatic Rescue and Safety (surf and SUP). You can also add SUP instructor awards and further rescue or lifeguard pathways if you’re aiming for higher-responsibility roles.
