The gorgeous villa is located only a 10-minute drive outside of Lagos. The beautiful garden and swimming pool are the perfect surroundings to calm down after a day at the beach. A hot tub, ice bath and sauna ensure that you can relax and recover during your holiday, too.
Here’s A Little Glimpse Of What Your Day Could Look Like
You’ll start each morning with a coffee and a set breakfast table at the villa, where you can enjoy breakfast, prepare a packed lunch, and ease into the day. You’ll then head out for full days of surfing at some of the best local surf spots, jumping into the surf vans and making the most of the conditions each day. On Tuesdays and Fridays, we’ll give you a lift into Lagos to enjoy a meal out and a relaxed night in town, while on the remaining evenings you can unwind back at the villa with fresh, home-cooked dinners. On Wednesday afternoon, after a morning in the surf, you’ll have the chance to stretch out tired muscles and reset during a guided yoga session.

Seven-night stays with daily surf coaching and optional yoga sessions
Our seven-night Surf and Surf & Yoga packages are designed to keep things simple, supportive, and well balanced. Each stay includes daily surf coaching tailored to your level, with plenty of water time, technique guidance, and video analysis to help you progress with confidence. Surfboard and wetsuit are included, along with spot introductions and safety briefings so you can focus fully on surfing.
The Surf & Yoga package builds on this experience by adding daily yoga sessions on surf days, supporting flexibility, strength, and recovery throughout the week. All guests also benefit from a mobility session and at least one yoga class during their stay.
Accommodation, meals, selected local transfers, and access to shared facilities are included, with optional extras such as massages, airport transfers, and seasonal SUP tours available to personalise your trip.
Surf Mansion & The Cottage
Our accommodation is split between the Surf Mansion and the Cottage, both located on the same property. The Surf Mansion offers brand-new, individually furnished rooms, including single, twin/double, and one triple room. All rooms have private bathrooms, with two rooms featuring a private bathroom located just across the hallway. The main villa is equipped with underfloor heating and cooling, along with practical comforts such as mosquito nets and electric shutters.
The Cottage provides a more relaxed, shared option, with three twin rooms and one double room. Guests share a single bathroom, with additional sinks and a communal living space. The Cottage does not have heating or air conditioning and offers a simpler, more communal stay.
Rooms are allocated based on preference and availability. Shared rooms may be mixed gender unless requested otherwise, and while we always aim to honour your room choice, an alternative room of the same category may be allocated if needed.
Our surf camp is set up to balance great surfing with comfort, space, and time to slow down. Based near Lagos in the Algarve, it offers easy access to a variety of surf spots, alongside a relaxed place to eat well, recover, and unwind between sessions. Whether you’re here to progress your surfing, add yoga into your routine, or simply enjoy life close to the ocean, the camp provides a calm and social base for the week.
Days naturally revolve around the surf, with space to relax afterwards, from shared lounge areas and outdoor terraces to recovery facilities designed to help you feel good for the next session. The atmosphere is friendly and laid-back, making it easy to settle in, connect with others, or take quiet time when you need it. It’s a place to surf, reset, and enjoy the Algarve at a comfortable, unhurried pace.

Sanne and Sonia’s world-famous skills in the kitchen have to be sampled to be believed, their truly first-class cooking will blow you away. Vegetarian, vegan, any allergies? No problem at all! On 2 nights a week, we will drive you into town and you will be able to choose one of the numerous great restaurants. Surfing places real demands on the body, often leading to tight and sore muscles after time in the water. Our surf massages are designed to ease tension, support healthy movement, and help your body recover and rebalance between sessions.

Surf sessions at the Surf Mansion Lagos are built around coached surf lessons, with guiding naturally woven in depending on your level and experience. Whether you’re learning the basics or looking to progress your surfing, sessions are planned around daily conditions to make the most of the Algarve’s coastline.
Rather than fixed timetables, surf sessions are organised day by day based on swell, wind, and tides. This flexible approach enables us to select the optimal locations for learning, progression, and enjoyment throughout your stay.
Each surf day includes structured coaching in the water, supported by clear explanations and feedback. Groups are kept small and matched by ability, so everyone can surf waves that suit their level.
For beginners and intermediate surfers, the focus is on surf lessons, learning techniques, positioning, wave selection, and building confidence in a supportive environment. More experienced surfers may transition into guided sessions, where coaching continues while exploring a wider range of conditions and breaks.
Transport to and from surf spots is included, and the surf team is always available to help you choose the right sessions for your goals
Our surf team combines qualified surf instructors with experienced local surf guides. They surf alongside you, offering practical, hands-on feedback in the water while helping you read conditions, timing, and positioning.
Safety is always a priority. The team has detailed knowledge of local conditions, entry and exit points, and how each spot works across different swells, ensuring sessions are both productive and well managed.
Progression is supported through a mix of in-water coaching, video analysis, and theory sessions during the week. Selected sessions are filmed and reviewed to help you better understand your surfing and identify areas to work on.
Theory sessions cover essential surf knowledge and are optional, allowing you to tailor the experience to your learning style and energy levels.
A range of surfboards is available at the camp, suitable for different abilities and conditions. This includes beginner boards, funshapes, and performance options. Leashes and rash guards are provided.
Optional surfboard insurance is available to cover accidental damage during your stay. Any lost equipment or missing parts are not covered.
BEGINNER SURFERBeginners take part in structured surf lessons in safe, forgiving conditions. The focus is on learning the fundamentals, building confidence, and developing a strong foundation at a comfortable pace.
INTERMEDIATE SURFERIntermediate surfers combine coached lessons with more freedom in the water, focusing on improving technique, wave choice, and consistency. With a range of breaks nearby, there’s plenty of opportunity to progress throughout the week.
ADVANCED SURFERAdvanced surfers benefit from a more guided approach, with coaching adapted to higher-level surfing and conditions. When suitable, sessions may take place at more challenging breaks to help refine performance and decision-making in the water.
