Two Seasons, One Epic Surf Destination

Nicaragua’s surf scene is shaped by two main seasons, each with its own unique vibe:

Green (Wet) Season: From mid-May to mid-November, the Pacific coast comes alive with powerful, consistent swells. This is prime time for surfers looking to challenge themselves and experience Nicaragua’s world-class waves at their best.
Dry (Hot) Season: Running from mid-November to mid-May, this season brings smaller, friendlier waves perfect for beginners or anyone looking to refine their skills. More advanced surfers will still find plenty of gems, especially with our expert guides leading the way.

The Ultimate Surfing Destination

Our in Nicaragua consists of a spacious 2-level building located on top of a hill that overlooks verdant jungle, Maderas beach and the glistening Pacific Ocean. While staying at our surf resort you can relax with a book in the common area. Also, watch a great surf movie through the projector or chill in one of the many loungers by the pool. Speaking of, what better place to check the surf from than from the refreshing water of our infinity pool? The camp also features comfortable beds, delicious food, open-plan spaces and beautiful showers. To cap it all off, you get front row seats to some of the most magnificent sunset views on this planet.

The walk from our surf resort to our home break, which is one of the most consistent surf locations in the country, takes about 15-minutes. Indeed, winds through a charming jungle path. The beach itself is situated on the Pacific coast of Central America. It is roughly 2.5 hours from Managua Airport and 9 kilometres north of San Juan del Sur. San Juan Del Sur is considered Nicaragua’s surf capital and home to a great number of incredible surf spots.

Food & Drink

The restaurant in our surf camp opens at 7 am for breakfast. Throughout the day we offer various international and local cuisine that is created in house by our chef. The grounds of the hotel have over 140 different fruit trees. We also incorporate their fruit into meals. We only use the best and freshest ingredients and have dishes that cater to vegans and vegetarians.

Breakfast Included Every Day

Our delicious breakfast options are available from 7 am to 11:30 am at the surf hotel. Free tea and coffee are available every day until 6 pm. Our breakfast with a choice of a fresh fruit juices, a starter such as a fruit salad or pancakes, and a main course like eggs or curries is included in the camp price. There are always vegan and vegetarian options.

Dinner Included Five Nights a Week

Join us for group dinners at the camp or beachside on five nights a week. We offer a diverse and healthy menu of local food options. Our casual group dining experiences allow you to meet surfers and good people from around the world. There are always vegan and vegetarian options.
