Life Around The Camp

Life around the camp moves at an easy, unhurried pace. Days are shaped by the tides and swell, with plenty of time to relax between sessions. Whether you’re unwinding in the gardens, cooling off by the pool, or heading out to explore Padang and the surrounding Bukit Peninsula, everything feels close and un-rushed.

The area around Padang Padang offers a balance of world-class waves and laid-back local life. Quiet beaches, cliffside viewpoints, cafés, and small warungs are all within easy reach, making it simple to fill your days with more than just surfing. It’s the kind of place where routines slow down, connections come easily, and time in the water blends naturally with life on land.

Practical Details

The surf house is open and accessible 24/7, with on site staff available to help during your stay. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house, and free parking can be found nearby. Laundry service is available on request for an additional fee.

Surf Lessons & Coaching

Surf lessons are available as part of the Surfaddict package, which includes one lesson per day (except arrival and departure days). Lessons last around two hours and are run in small groups, adapted to your surf level.

If you’re staying on the Freesurfer package, surf lessons are not included, but private or additional lessons can be added if you’d like coaching during your stay. This makes it a flexible option for surfers who want a mix of independence and support.

Equipment & Rentals

A wide range of surfboards is available, covering different shapes and sizes to suit ability and conditions. This includes beginner friendly boards as well as more performance-focused options. Wetsuits are also included when you book a surf package.

Optional surfboard insurance is available to cover accidental damage during use. Lost boards or missing equipment are not covered.

Packages Explained

The Surfaddict package is best suited to beginners and intermediate surfers who want daily coaching, structured sessions, and clear progression during their stay.

The Freesurfer package is designed for intermediate and experienced surfers who prefer to surf independently, with full access to equipment and the option to add private lessons if needed.
