Before booking with Outer Reef Surf Travel, please take a moment to read these Terms and Conditions. They explain how bookings work, what you can expect from us, and your responsibilities when travelling and taking part in surf and adventure activities.

By paying a deposit or confirming a booking, you agree to these Terms, which form the basis of your contract with Outer Reef Surf Travel Ltd.

OUTER REEF SURF TRAVEL – TERMS AND CONDITIONS (SUMMARY)

1. Our Role (Agency Status)
   Outer Reef Surf Travel often acts as an agent for third-party providers, such as surf camps, accommodation, transport operators, and local activity partners (“Service Providers”).
   Your contract for those services is directly with the Service Provider, not Outer Reef. We are not responsible for their acts, omissions, or standards, but will assist where possible if issues arise.

2. Prices and Payment
   All prices are subject to availability and may change before confirmation.
   A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
   Full payment is normally due no later than 90 days before departure (or earlier if required by the Service Provider).
   Bookings made within 90 days must usually be paid in full immediately.

3. Cancellations and Changes by You
   Deposits are strictly non-refundable.
   Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation charges depend on the Service Provider’s terms.
   Within 90 days of departure, up to 100% of the trip cost may be non-refundable.
   We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation and illness.

4. Changes or Cancellation by Outer Reef or Providers
   Trips may be amended or cancelled due to safety, operational reasons, insufficient numbers, or events beyond control.
   Where possible, we will offer an alternative or arrange credit/refund in line with provider policies.
   We are not responsible for additional costs you incur (flights, visas, insurance, etc.).

5. Force Majeure
   Outer Reef is not liable for disruption caused by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, pandemics, government restrictions, border closures, strikes, or natural disasters.
   Refunds or credits will depend on the Service Provider’s policies.

6. Health and Safety
   Surfing and adventure activities carry inherent risk. By booking, you accept these risks and agree to follow all safety guidance.
   You must inform us of any medical conditions or special requirements before travel.

7. Travel Insurance
   Suitable travel insurance is strongly recommended and may be required by certain providers.
   It is your responsibility to ensure you are fully insured for medical care, cancellation, injury, and water sports activities.

8. Passports, Visas, and Documentation
   You are responsible for ensuring you have valid passports, visas, and entry requirements.
   Failure to meet immigration rules may result in refusal of travel with no refund.

9. Liability
   To the fullest extent permitted by law, Outer Reef accepts no liability for the acts or omissions of third-party Service Providers.
   Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the value of the booking made through us.

10. Privacy and Data Protection
    We only use your personal data to arrange your booking and meet legal obligations.
    We do not sell your information and only share details with relevant providers as required.

11. Behaviour and Conduct
    We reserve the right to remove any guest from a trip where behaviour risks safety, causes serious disruption, or involves misconduct. No refund will be provided in such cases.

12. Governing Law
    These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of English courts.
